I first met Dan during my senior year of high school when he stepped in as head coach of the North Kitsap High School golf team. Taking over from a long-tenured coach was no easy task, but Dan embraced the challenge with confidence and heart.

My name is Kyle Kincaid and I’m a CPA in public practice in Silverdale; I’ve been a resident of Kitsap County since 1996 and a Poulsbo city resident since 2023.
I’ve known Dan Weedin for 25 years and first met him when I was an owner of Parker Lumber in Bremerton and he was our insurance broker. When Dan started his own business, consulting in insurance and risk management, he became our trusted advisor
and trainer of our employees, and he could always be counted on to educate and inspire.

Hello my name is Kaden Pickard. I’ve known Dan since 2020, first hearing his voice for two years announcing home football games and then officially meeting him in 2023 when I joined the North Kitsap High School golf team.
Dan has more than enough attributes to become Mayor of Poulsbo, but what separates him from others is the ability to lead.
He is able to get hundreds of people on their feet to bring energy to football games, or being able to say the right things to you on the golf course when you may have had a bad shot.
Dan also leads outside of sports owning his own business, making podcasts and helping out our community.
